Volunteers Joined the Sahabat Anak camping “Jamboree” this month in Ragunan, Jakarta, where there were more than 1,000 participants of ex-street children and volunteers. We were part of equipment team and helped to make sure all the equipment was working during this 2 day 1 night event of exciting entertainment and educational activities with the theme centering around the slogan “we are the same, we are Indonesia” to emphasize tolerance and acceptance in diversity.

Bulan ini relawan kami bergabung dengan acara Jambore yang diadakan di Ragunan, Jakarta, dimana jumlah partisipan mencapai 1.000 orang. Kami diperbantukan di tim perlengkapan dengan tugas memastikan semua perlengkapan tersedia untuk acara 2 hari 1 malam ini. Dengan memanggul tema “we are the same, we are Indonesia”, acara diisi dengan berbagai aktivitas dan permainan yang menitikberatkan pada kebersamaan, toleransi dan menerima perbedaan.

We visited ex-street children center of Sahabat Anak in Grogol, Jakarta where we had fun playing bingo together and ended with snack time, enjoyed by each one.
