FCI Volunteers Albert and Daniel travel to Bali then to Kupang, NTT and on to Atambua, NTT. In Bali we visited and orphanage interacting with the children through songs and “story telling”. We also gave gift bags to each one of the children. While in Bali we also visited with friends and renewed contact. After arriving in Kupang we visited a village near the ocean where most of the people are fishermen. We had a fun time singing with the children in the village teaching them songs and distributing gift bags to each of the children. From Kupang we went to Atambua, where we spent a few days visiting with the school teachers and children at the Primavera School. (This is the school that FCI helped to build in Atambua) We distributed gift bags to the children and had story time together. Thanks to sponsors we were able to give a financial gift to help cover the cost of renovation on the school building. While in Atambua we also contacted some of our friends and visited the local prison with them. We gave a motivational talk to all the inmates and spent time to get to know some of them personally. Special thanks to all those who helped to make these visits possible.
