This month Esther traveled to mountain villages outside of Atambua, West Timor to celebrate Easter. This is the first time that volunteers have participated in these local celebrations and it was a wonderful opportunity to bring cheer and joy to the villages. Surrounded by beautiful scenery Esther observed the amazing cultural and traditional way Easter is celebrated in this mountain region. Esther brought Easter eggs and snacks for the children and T-shirts and rosaries for the adults.
