CELEBRATING INDEPENDENCE DAY WITH EX-STREET CHILDREN (August 2019)
We had a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Indonesian Independence day with the former street children who study with “Sahabat Anak”. We got together under a flyover bridge in downtown Jakarta and the children really enjoyed the activities. It was encouraging to see the local volunteers interact with these children and how much it means to them that someone takes the time to care.

CELEBRTAING INDEPENDENCE DAY WITH THE CANCER KIDS IN BANDUNG
Dina participates in Independence Day activities with children who have cancer in Bandung. Due to a shortage of teachers last month she also helped out teaching the younger children and organized the school room for the new year. It is a blessing that the shelter can offer homeschooling to the young cancer patients – ranging from toddlers to high schoolers.

Relawan kami, Dina di Bandung merayakan HUT Indonesia dengan anak-anak pengidap kanker. Dikarenakan kurangnya tenaga pengajar, Dina membantu mengajar anak-anak dan menata ruangan kelas untuk tahun baru. Tempat ini memberikan edukasi untuk anak-anak yang berada disana, mulai dari usia TK sampai dengan SMU.
